Wildfire Dance Theatre

What are the requirements of a performance?

A minimum of 2 hours set up time before the start of a performance. (These 2 hours include set-up, sound check, warm-up and prayers) This will help insure consistent quality with less stress on everyone.

Electrical outlets for the sound system.

Drinking water. Each performer must be provided with drinking water for every performance. Experience has shown that schools usually have no problems providing the water for their performance, leaving the community responsible for providing water at non-school events. Bottles are preferred.

The minimum amount of space required for a performance is about 20ft x 30ft. 20ft deep and 30ft wide. This is in consideration that our choreography requires a stage at least size of 18ft x 24ft and adequate room for our backdrop and changing area.

A maximum of three performances a day. This includes any activities in which the artists are being presented as the Wildfire Dance Theatre, i.e. public meetings, group interviews with media etc.

In order to maintain a high standard of excellence Wildfire will need time scheduled for both rehearsals & deepenings while in your community and but will require a rehearsal space. Rehearsal space and performance space can be in the same location. Kindly allow for at least two 2 hours rehearsals a week.

The group MUST be given one full day off by each week. We ask please that this full 24-hour day is always Monday. Please note, if a day off is not given, you may be asked to cancel shows.
